I’m the first ball to get used for this game I said in a sad voice. He’s going for a spinner ow that was a close one. I’m so lucky. The wicket keeper throws me back. He goes for another one he, he smash’s it Bang OUCH!!! man that sting’s. I can’t believe I can fly flyin so high. Wow I’m on the big screen donk!!!Now That hurt. nnnnnnnnooooooooo my stitching is coming out ewww where am  I ewww I’m in some guy’s pant’s gross

My Biking Reflection

When I bike I feel free the wind blowing in my hair I feel relaxed.

My earliest biking memory was when I got sent down Given Street which was a hill and I went faster and faster until I hit the gutter and crashed!

Before we started cycling I was kind of nervous because I didn’t have the right bike.  I came third in the triathlon so I conned mum into buying me one while she was proud of me.

I need to learn more about how to look behind me while I’m riding my bike.

I noticed Jaedyn because he was turning one handed while he was hand signalling.

I noticed Josh because I could see he was looking behind himself with ease.

I noticed Josh because he was really good at scooting and hoping on.

this is my holiday homework I hope you enjoy it




There’s a hour and a half to go I am waiting.  For on the last 24 hours I have been watching trade me.  I desperately want a quad bike.  I have tried to talk my parents into buying me one for so long and they haven’t had the time to look.  Now I have found the bike that I want and I am ready.  It’s only 20 more minutes until the auction is over.  She won’t click buy now it’s five hundred dollars the buy now price is six hundred dollar she doesn't want to spend another hundred dollars.  I wonder  if I will get it.  I want to zoom around on it and have heaps of fun..  I will be helpful if I get it.  I can get firewood on it and help Mum.

I have told her what a good idea it is but I don’t know if she believes me.  I have been so nice to mum all day.  I even offered to get her a drink.  I took my sister for a bikeride but that didn’t go so well.  She is so annoying.  

I want this bike really, really badly.  So badly I would trade my sister for it.  I would even trade my new hats.  I want it that bad.  I wouldn’t trade mum though because I would probably starve to death.  I hope I get it....

Fiona: Henry, you are such a dreamer!!!  There is no way I would fall for that line!!!  I am pleased this is in writing because if we do get this bike, I will always have proof that you will do jobs for me!!!!  I think it is  a great idea not to trade me as you would probably get pretty hungry if I wasn’t here.  I can’t believe you would swap your sister though!  How terrible!

Georgia:  I think you were the annoying one.  Have fun on it Henry. Do not crash

Mum - we have had the moter bike for 24 hours and guess what?  I had to get the wood myself tonight !!!!  Who would have thought?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

henry: On Sunday Josh Beau Ben Olivia and there parents came to our house. We had a awesome time on the motorbike till it broke down then they started leaving then it is time for Georgia and I to go to bed. the next morning I wake up. I'm drawing In my art book then Georgia Mum and Dad walk in. Mum and Georgia start cooking breakfast there is two humongous eggs I have one It is a double yolker it is when there two yolks In one egg. It was delicious.  

Then we took my bike into the shop because it wasn’t going and the man said we can fix it because it is the copy of the honda motor he will make it easier to turn it on to. then since we had the trailer we got all the scrap steel and took it to the the place where they buy It off you.  When we had finished that we went home and did the fort. Now we only have to do the window the inside walls carpets and the curtains.  



My Mom signed me up for tennis camp these holidays I learned how to forehand, backhand, volley, serve and   score.  At lunch we had a massive water fight we got really wet then when we were running around and samuel broke two bones in his lower arm.

Fiona: What an amazing holiday you have had.  Tennis camp was pretty awesome and you learnt so much when you were there.  Good luck for the tennis tournament next week.  I love the hut that you and your friends and father have built.  I think it looks amazing with the stag on the front of it.  You should take a photo of ot and show it to Miss Garland.  Her boyfriend is a hunter.  He probably stays in huts like this when he is trapping possums.  Why don’t you ask her?  She might even have some ideas on things you can add to it.
Your writing has improved too.  You are such a good writer when you write.  I wish you would do it more often.  I love to read your writing.  Good luck for term four.  You have done so well this year.  I am very proud of you.

Georgia: I can’t wait until it comes back tomorrow.  Are you excited henry?    

Henry: Yes Georgia I am excited. On Sunday afternoon we went to   Grunter’s new house. We were catching bees when dad said it is time to go to nana’s house.   They were looking after my cousin’s dog Olley. We got chips and juice and then I went and got the egg’s. There were eleven eggs.  We drove home and said to mum that Grunter asked us if we wanted to go. Mum said yes so we went .  

When we got there, Mason and his dad were there.  We were playing cops and robbers and then it got a bit boring so we started playing a game where you pull the tractor around with somebody on it.  We got the strops out of Andrews ute and we tied them to the front of the tractor.  When everybody had had a turn we put the surfboard on the back and surfed!

When we came home we went next door to Greg and Ginnys.  We gave them an invitation and then we looked at all the things Greg had killed.  He had a water buffalo, a bear, a zebra, a deer (about 8 different sorts), a chammy, a tarh, a sheep and a pheasant.  He also had a zebra skin.  Greg has just been to South Africa and shot 10 other animals and they are coming home soon.  He got a springbok and a warthog.  These will be whole bodies stuffed.  He keeps them all in his TV room.  Ginny says the animals are a bit disturbing but she has to deal with it! I thought it was pretty awesome.  I would love to have a room like that.  The animals eyes would be spectacular if they glowed red.  I think it would be really cool if I had all those animals still alive in my paddock.  

We also looked at Gregs train.  It is his barbe que on a train!  I wonder if it goes!  It would be pretty cool if it went.  you could cook the food and then drive it to the people!  You would need a pretty long train track.

We came home and had tea.  I had to finish this story and mum got mad because I still had a whole page to write and I am supposed to be in bed.  She should know if I had been organised and done my  homework I wouldn’t have been able to write about Gregs house.  It was so flash and huge there.  My favourite stuffed animal was the water buffalo.  It had massive horns and it was on the wall.  It was just the head.  I hope it doesn’t fall off the wall.  I don’t think I will sit in the chair under it just incase!

Suddenly the temperature dropped. I was in Hastings. It was Christmas eve about midnight. Ka boom!!! “What was that?” I said. I jumped out of my bed I tip toed to the door looking both ways. I ran back to my bed. Look,  it’s  Tom! He went back to his bed. I scuttled to the living room. I gasped with excitement!  “Are you Santa Claus?”
“Yes,” the man said. I looked out the window.  “Wow! What? Where are your reindeer? “They’re out the other window.”
I looked out of the window.  “Tricked you!  they’re over there.”
“Far out!  Thats amazing!”

Rowing.

My coach bets me that I can't beat the world record. I jump into the boat the green light flashes. I stick my paddle in the water. I’m feeling nervous. We haven’t got a really good start.  We’re in Third place but we’re catching up to Poland, were tying with them then bam. We’re beating them. The French are next to beat. I’m feeling unlucky but hey I always feel unlucky. Then we're getting closer to France then bang we are a meter away from France. 50 cm! 1 cm! We’re beating France. Then we're really close to the halfway mark. We have to stay in first the whole way. We have just past halfway. I'm starting to sweat. Ow the ache hits me. It hurts in my elbow.

I'm paddling hard out. I can feel the burn on my shoulder I feel like stopping but I’m just not allowed. We’re three meters to the 1500 meter mark I can't  wait till we finish. Over the loudspeaker they said Henry Roil and Hamish Bond are coming to the finish line. We have crossed the finish. We have just beat the world record. NEK minute all the other boats go past the finish line. I jump onto land my coach comes running to congratulate me. “What do I get remember?”. “Well I suppose you could get subway” he said.

Henry fell off his bed when his alarm clock went beep beep beep!!!. Henry get off the ground. Henry starts making his bed. Then he opens his curtains. Boom!!! the sunlight blinds me. Henry get off the ground. Then bang Henry hits the floor. His sister has pranked him. Then Henry runs  into her room. He  jumps

on her bed she is so furious. Henry goes and gets his clothes on.

He runs to get dad to make his breakfast. She finished her breakfast at the same time as him. Then it's a race to the bathroom .Shes in front ow. Henry's tackled Georgia over so

he could be in the lead. Henry gets disqualified. Georgia starts  punching him because shes really mad with Henry. Georgia says “look there's a new player its our Dad.” Dad jumps over Henry and Georgia. He closes the door behind himself. Henry and Georgia bang on the door to try and get in. Georgia runs in. “How gross” she said. She ran out of the bathroom with her nose blocked. Then after that it was a race to the front seat. Vroom vroom. Mums reffing the car up. I race grab my lunch box. I throw it into my bag. I pick it up. I jump into  the front seat. I thought to myself where are my shoes. I jump out of the car grab my shoes. Noooooo

WALT: Provide clear instructions.

Aim: We want to find out what ingredients remain at the bottom after evaporation.

Hypothesis: I think...that the sugars,caffine and acid will stay at the bottom. I think the colour will stay the the same, but the water inside the little container will just be clear water.

Variables: Things we need to control are ..to make thing fair by puting the same amount in each one. put them all in the sun .put the same amount of weight on each one.

Equipment: You will need... is

• Ice cream container
• A bowl
• Glad wrap
• something heavy
• tape

Instructions:
1) Place the ice cream container on the ground.
2) Slowly pour the liquid into the container .
3)  Place the littler container into the ice cream container.
4) Tightly pull over the container the glad wrap.
5)Wrap tape to hold the glad wrap onto the ice cream container.
6) Put some weight on top of the glad wrap in the middle.
7 then put it outside in the sun and wait it takes a wail.

Conclusion:

Facts

These are some of the fact I know. I now need to practise my 6, 7, 8 time tables.

a drop of water

A drop of water hit my arm as it started to rain.    I watched as it trickled down my arm and and hug on my fingernail.  It dropped into a puddle causing a splash.  the water around the drop, created circles that moved further and further away.  

I can no longer see my drop of water because it joined its friends.  the drop is swimming and swirling around in the puddle.  

As i watched the sun started to rise.  it got so hot I forgot about the drop of water.  I went to have a swim and when I came back, the puddle was gone.  My drop of water had evopatated and disappeared.  





I wonder if we could look thru a magnifying glass and see what this magician sees.

There he sat one day, and held his magnifying-glass to his eye, and looked at a drop of water that had been taken out of a puddle by the ditch. But what a kribbling and krabbling was there! All the thousands of little creatures hopped and sprang and tugged at one another, and ate each other up.
"That is horrible!" said old Kribble-Krabble. "Can one not persuade them to live in peace and quietness, so that each one may mind his own business?"

Environment

Today Sarah came from the Hastings district council to teach us some of the hazards like noise can be to loud some times. Your neighbours will ring up the council and complain that your music is to loud and they will come.They will come and take your radio. In residential areas buildings can be 10 metres tall.
Signs have to relate to where you put them. If you put your house on Te Mata peak it would have to be a certain colour.

e went to mountain valley to tackle new challenges.  
when we went white water rafting we saw some waterfalls and wWe did white water rafting,
pistol shooting, archery and the amazing race it was really fun.
Archery was fun we had to do it inside. My group were
and so was tiryns. It was really awesome. I had great fun. Paige got a bulls eye.
When we saw one we would say hey look over there there's a waterfall.  While we were rafting we saw some people fixing a bridge one of them through a stone down.     
We did some cool activities like long ball.

Room 19 have just started P.E.We are learning netball skills. to do successful  netball pass you need to catch  the ball on the side then twist towards you step once and push. I noticed mattew H. because he had a strong pass and a great catch.

In the year two thousand 1 hundred some body will    
discover a new planet.  On a mission to outer space
there will be a team of astronauts shooting through space.
Some of the explorers get out of the rocket and into a space
buggy.  They discover they are on a new planet that
hasn’t been discovered yet.  They have 3 air tanks strapped
their bodies and as they get further away from
the rocket their air gets less and less.  They watch their  
gauges as their air slowly runs out because I think adults will be into exploring

I think you will drive around in a hover craft because
there will be no petrol left. It will run on vegetable oil I think it will be
fantastic.

There will be no fish left in the whole world because we would of fished them all out of the water.There will also be no whales left because the Japanese have killed them and I think Japanese kill shark’s too.
Cruel Japanese. We will just have to deal with it.


EMPLOYMENT:
I think that robots will do all the work for us. We will be lazy and when everyone has a robot they will rule the world .We will be lazy and can’t move but hopefully people will still be fit .I will be one that is fit.

THERE ONCE WAS A SHIP CALLED THE ROCK . AT ELEVEN O'CLOCK AT NIGHT THE SHIP CRASHED INTO SOME ROCKS. PEOPLE SCAMPERED OF THE BOAT AND ONLY THREE MADE IT OFF THEY WERE CALLED TYRIN HENRY AND JOSH. THEY NEEDED TO FIND SAFETY ALL THE COULD SEE WAS A LITTLE OLD WOOD HUT. SO THEY RAN INSIDE ALL THAT THEY COULD SEE WAS 4 SKELETON'S “AT LEST WE'VE GOT COMPANY’ HENRY SAID. “I WONDER HOW LONG THEY'VE BEEN HERE FOR” I SAID CREEEEEKKKK “WHAT WAS THAT” HEN SAID WORRIEDLY JUST THE FLOOR.HEY AT LEAST WE HAVE SOMEWHERE TO STAY TYRIN SAID HAPPILY” ME AND HENRY TURNED AWAY AND THEN NEK MINUTE TYRIN WAS GONE. SO WE ALL RAN OUT OF THE HUT AND PICKED UP SOME STICKS AND WROTE SOS IN THE SAND ABOUT TWO HOURS LATER A HELICOPTER FLEW OVER THE ISLAND AND STOPPED AND LANDED ON THE ISLAND GET IN THE DRIVER SAID LETS GO HOME HOOORAY WE ALL SAID.

My bikes burning my legs as I go faster the motor getting hotter. I can hear the roar of motor bike as loud as a rocket blasting off in to space. I could see the monster truck fly throw the dust. I can taste the DUST!!! throw my mouth. I could smell smoke coming out of the monster truck muffler.
